Religion has dominated communities and social aspects of life for centuries and made non- believers feel totally out of the crowd and scared them back into believing. The ASSA aims to answer questions about religion and atheism as well as to create a community of people who hold the same views. Atheists believe lots of things but commonly they don't believe religion.

WHAT IS THE ASSA?
The Atheist Society of Southern Africa(ASSA) is a non-profit organisation promoting free religious choice. The main goal of the ASSA is to get people thinking about religion, questioning what they think they know and learning that atheism isn't all that bad. The ASSA promotes discussion and debate with a goal of complete separation of church and state and complete religious freedom.
